I want local help with Beaver removal in Portland!

A wildlife control operator can remove the beavers and prevent further damage from occurring to your trees and other property.

I live on a small lake near Portland, Oregon.  Beaver have moved into the area and are burrowing into the rock bulkhead.  They are digging into the shoreline of the lake and creating underground dens in my yard.  A while back I was walking along the shore and the ground abruptly gave way under my foot, partially trapping my leg in the tunnel.  Fortunately, I wasn’t hurt, but what if I had been running?  I am sure I would have broken my leg.

Of course, the beaver are also working on building things their own way using my landscaping.  Shrubs and small trees are falling victim to their teeth.  They most recently girdled two elm trees and completely cut down a lovely white oak.  I have had it with the animals.

So I started looking for a way to get rid of the beaver. I discovered some companies on-line that advertise as Wildlife Control Specialists and profess to be able to get rid of all sorts of things, but I am hesitant to pay a hefty deposit for on-line beaver removal.  I would much rather use someone local, but only exterminators were listed in the Yellow Pages and I don’t have a cockroach problem.  How did I know who really will do a good job and get rid of these animals while I still have a tree or two left?

That was my big conflict:  a beaver problem and not certain how to solve it.  So, I kept looking until I found www.AllstateAnimalControl.com .  It is a website, yes, but one with a difference. They have a directory.  And I was able to locate a local operator, Peter, right here in the Portland area.

The local professionals guys were great.  After talking to them on the phone I was very comfortable paying them a deposit for beaver removal.  They came out, trapped the animals and took them away.  They gave me some great ideas for cleaning up the mess and checked back afterwards to make sure I didn’t have any more problems.  So far, so good.
